We are members of the following accreditation bodies

MCS

Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is a nationally recognised quality assurance scheme, supported by the Department of Energy and Climate Change. MCS certifies microgeneration technologies used to produce electricity and heat from renewable sources.

MCS is also an eligibility requirement for the Government's financial incentives, which include the Feed-in Tariff and the Renewable Heat Incentive.

MCS demonstrates the quality of products and competence of installers in the renewable technology sector. In this rapidly growing industry, installers and products that carry the MCS mark are likely to be seen as the preferred option in the market place.

MCS benefits include:

  • Consumer Protection
  • Quality Assurance
  • Financial Incentives
  • Planning Permission
  • The Code for Sustainable Homes
  • The Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP)

REA

The REA (Renewable Energy Association) was established in 2001 as a not-for-profit trade association, representing British renewable energy producers and promoting the use of renewable energy in the UK. REA helps its members to build commercially and environmentally sustainable businesses whilst increasing the contribution of renewable energy to the UK's electricity, heat, transport and green gas needs.

RECC

The Renewable Energy Consumer Code was set up by the Renewable Energy Association. Its aim is to guarantee a high quality experience for consumers wishing to buy or lease small-scale energy generation systems for their homes. The Renewable Energy Consumer Code logo is a sign that the company has agreed to abide by the high standards set out in the Consumer Code.
